Welcome to Ireland!! Ireland is an island on the east coast of England and France, and the north-west coast of Iceland. Ireland is 53 degrees north of the Equator and 8 degrees west of the Prime Meridian. Ireland's capital city is Dublin. Dublin is famous for the extravagant and multi-colored doors that can been seen around the city. The country has a very interesting history. On this website you will learn about the history and everyone involved in it. From vicious take-overs, to horrible famine, to glorious independence. Ireland has pretty much witnessed  everything. That is why many people say that the Irish are so strong mentally because no matter what they are always hope for things to get better.
